Wow how time flies with a baby that is now approaching six months! I can't believe how fast Riley has gone from being a newborn to being more and more independent every day. Since i last posted she has started eating solids, learned to roll over both ways, push herself up onto her hand/knees, and even take a couple of "crawl steps" to use my own words . She is just amazing to me and i love to watch her try to figure her way through something....unless that something is how to get into daddy's x-box or open the movie drawer lol! I put a new picture on here....it's not the best quality since i took it with my phone but it is SO cute!
Aside from baby news I have been so busy at work lately. I work at the hospital here in Hamilton and am usually in the ER. Lately, however, they have had me doing a number of different projects including helping a new physician get her practice here up and going. What was supposed to be a 2-week project has now turned into a full time position. They offered me the position with her and my heart is torn. While I love the doctor and really enjoy working with her, I am nervous that there will be one day down the road that she will seperate from the hospital (they always do).....and then where would my job be? I'm sure she would take me with her but what if she didn't offer health insurance? I dunno.....the ER is great but the drama (from the staff...not the patients) is too much sometimes. I had to do a couple of presentations today for the new staff coming on to the west chester hospital and I loved doing that. I am so comfortable in front of a group of people and I love training so I would eventually like to transition into a higher role in administration or office management....I'm just not sure which route would get me there best.
Hopefully I will have time to update more often, sorry it's been so long!
